Putnam County Planning and Development provides a wide range of services to the public from issuing residential and commercial building permits, reviewing residential subdivision requests, processing zoning applications to enforcing the Solid Waste and Scrap Tire Ordinance (Chapter 50) and the Environmental Ordinance (Chapter 30)

We have provided some information that we hope will be of interest to you as you browse our site.  Our goal in this department is to make the application and permitting process as simple as possible while enforcing and maintaining our various regulations and assuring legal compliance with all rules.

The City of Eatonton Planning & Zoning Commission holds regular meetings on the 2nd Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the  Eatonton Police Department located at 214 W. Marion Street in Eatonton, Georgia.
